Post breakfast, proceed to the most romantic destination in India – Munnar, one of the popular hill stations in Kerala. The highway passes through dewy valleys, waterfalls thundering with pulled monsoon rain and tea-covered hills washed by the monsoons. Arrive and check in at your hill resort, freshen up and you can leave for sightseeing. Later, proceed to Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls or take a monsoon walk in the tea estates surrounding your home for the day.

Rise and shine with the cool mountains air and prepare a simple breakfast. Head to Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, then visit the Tea Museum and Echo Point. Click misty monsoon landscapes and sip freshly made Munnar tea. Evening at leisure for local shopping or opt for Ayurvedic massage to relax during the rains.

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady by passing through picturesque plantations and forest covered valleys. Arrive at your eco-resort and then take a boating trip on Periyar Lake to see herds of elephants and buck approaching the shore. Take in the aroma of Kerala’s spice crops, such as cardamom and pepper, at a spice garden, and enjoy an evening cultural performance of Kathakali or martial arts.

And after breakfast travel towards Alleppey – a paradise for Kerala backwaters. Board your private deluxe houseboat and cruise along peaceful canals bordered by coconut palms. Enjoy sumptuous Kerala meals on board as rain-soaked paddy fields and simple villages float by you. After breakfast check out and proceed to Kumarakom, famously known for its picturesque bird sanctuary and peaceful monsoon feel. Take a leisurely boat trip or explore the green countryside. Later, continue to Athirappilly- Kerala’s most majestic waterfall. See the thunderous waterfall at monsoon and encircle by dense tropical foliage. Overnight at the foot of the waterfalls or back to Cochin.

After breakfast, time permitting you can do some last minute shopping or visit the busy spice markets of Cochin. Our guide will transfer you to the airport for your connecting flight.
