Enjoy a lovely drive from Cochin to Munnar and start your Kerala Adventure Getaway! It is en route to visit Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls for mind-blowing snaps. After breakfast, embark on a guided hike through tea plantations and rolling hills, with panoramic vistas of the valleys. Embark on a game drive of Eravikulam National Park and see the Nilgiri Tahr among other nature. Later, visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake. Wind up the day with a visit to the Tea Museum for history of planting. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady through picturesque spice plantations. Get checked in to your hotel and take a boat safari on Periyar Lake, which is home to elephants, deer and birdlife. In the evening, you can go bamboo rafting or see a Kathakali dance and Kalaripayattu martial arts performance. The day combines cultural and wildlife experiences. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Post breakfast, start your beautiful drive to Wayanad: land of woods and wildlife, the emerald paradise near the god’s own country. Upon arrival, you will be checked into the resort and you may freshen up. Later, go for a hike to the ancient Edakkal Caves with their prehistoric carvings and views of the valley. In the afternoon, go to Soochipara Waterfalls where tourists can bask under the cool mist and natural pools. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Wayanad.
Start with an early morning jeep safari through Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary for elephant, bison and peculiar birds. Come back and have breakfast Ludha and proceed to Alleppey. Embark upon your luxury houseboat on which you will spend a peaceful day cruising down these beautiful backwaters with canals, lagoons and palm-fringed villages. Take meals just like regular Kerala food and watch the sunset. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Post breakfast at the houseboat check-out and proceed to drive to Cochin. If time permits, visit other tourist attractions in Fort Kochi such as Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and spice markets! You want to book an additional adventure like paragliding, zip-lining or more trekking days? These optional extras are not included in the package.
Personal expenses ( for shopping, laundry, the use of a mini bar in the hotel, tips to driver and guide either at the airport or during city tours or phone calls etc) are not included.
