Tour itinerary

Your Kerala 8 Days 7 Nights Itinerary Your warm reception at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station and transfer to Hotel, check-in to the hotel on arrival. En route, you will drive through rolling hills, through cascading waterfalls like Valara and Cheeyappara and spice plantations. On reaching Munnar, check-in to the resort. FREE evening to relax on the local market or at your hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast proceed to a full day sightseeing of Munnar. Eravikulam National Park is a must visit to see the Nilgiri Tahr as well as wonderful views of the valleys. Proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point & Kundal Lake. Visit the Tea Museum later to know about tea heritage of Kerala. The evening is at leisure for shopping/hobbies. Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast, drive towards Thekkady through cardamom hills & pepper plantations. After checking into your hotel, relax by the pool before driving to Periyar Lake for a boat safari where elephants, deer and birdlife are frequently seen. After, take a spice plantation tour and watch an evening cultural performance of Kathakali or Kalaripayattu. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Post breakfast, in the morning go on for an additional tour of Thekkady. You may even choose from a nature walk, bamboo rafting or visiting the tribal heritage centre. Post breakfast, you will proceed to Alleppey and check in at a houseboat. Cruise through peaceful backwaters to see fertile paddy fields, coconut groves, and local villages. You will be served with deliciously cooked food on board. You have the rare opportunity to relax in a houseboat enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Overnight on the houseboat with all Meals.

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom. Check into a lakeside resort on Vembanad Lake. Hire a canoe or just revel in the peace and quiet – also available are trips to the nearby Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you can view migratory birds. Rest of the evening free to rest at a resort or enjoy a sunset view. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Then after breakfast, proceed to Kovalam – the internationally renowned beach destination for Kerala vacations. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort. Later, proceed to Lighthouse Beach and also visit Hawa Beach Samudra Beach. Couples can take a sunset walk – while families relax on the beach together. Evening at town for a palace with spa treatment or lying on the resort. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
