Tour itinerary
The first day of a 7 days travel plan in Kerala gets started subsequent to your arrival at the Cochin Airport or Railway Station where our representative will receive you. Travel on winding roads through tea gardens and gushing waterfalls such as Cheeyappara and Valara. Reach Munnar and check in at your resort. You could spend a lazy evening wandering around the markets or tasting Kerala snacks or just chilling at the property. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, visit the popular sights of Munnar. Head to Eravikulam National Park to see the Nilgiri Tahr, and continue to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake for boating. Later, visit the Tea Museum to find out a little more about plantation heritage. In the evening, return to your resort for relaxation or choose to pamper yourself with a spa treatment. After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady-a spice garden city with a wild Scots jungle. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the afternoon, you could take a boat cruise along Periyar Lake where elephants and assorted deer species can be seen. Evening entertainment options include a spice plantation tour and cultural performances such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Post breakfast, drive to Alleppey – the backwaters capital of Kerala. Get on board your private deluxe house boat and navigate through palm fringed canals, paddy fields and rustic villages. Relish traditional Kerala food – freshly made on board. The trip on the houseboat gives you a chance to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The houseboat stayed overnight with all meals.
Overnight Houseboat Breakfast Check out from the house boat and drive to Kovalam – The international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water for swimming and perfect for other water sports activities. Arrive at your beachfront resort and relax. Explore Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach in the evening. Go for a sunset stroll or splash down seafood delicacies at the shore. After breakfast go on a day trip to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. See Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum and the Zoological Gardens.
